Founded in 1982, Liaoning Science and Technology Publishing House (LSTPH) as a member of Liaoning Publishing Group is a professional all-around publishing house with rich experience and strong integrated strength. The books published cover medical science, architecture design, industry technology, life style, management, etc. and nearly 400 varieties of books are published each year.

The distinguishing features of LSTPH are strict and practical, honest and faithful, conforming to the times and developing in leap forward. To meet the even high requirement from the market economy to the publisher and the challenge of WTO, LSTPH changes continually the operating and decision-making mechanism innovatively based on the need of establishing modern enterprise system. LSTPH has more than employees including over 40 senior editors. LSTPH mainly consists of Publishing Center of Architecture Books, Publishing Center of Medical Books, Industry Books Editing Room, Life-style Books Editing Room, Foreign Cooperation Department, Magazine Office of Urban Space Design, Magazine Office of Auto Maintenance, Distribution Company, Marketing Department, Accounting Department, Production Department, Quality Control Room.  The scientific organizational structure and efficient staff courage mechanism have increased LSTPH's adaptability and ability of suiting to the changing market. LSTPH was elected as a good publishing house by the Press and Publications Administration of the P.R.C. and won prizes of excellent publishing quality as a whole in Liaoning Province.

While importing quite a number of books with foreign copyrights, LSTPH has also exported lots of books to the different parts of world, playing an active role of bridge and tie in promoting Sino-foreign cultural exchange.
